Had the BEST experience with Kristin at the desk (I should have asked her what vitamins she takes!) - she is a whirlwind & could not be more helpful. + the office area is a museum of Schmidt’s Auto going back decades, but I digress. Wasn’t having the best day, Kristin was wonderful & my tow truck driver, Trooper, could not have been better. Really great guy, aside from knowing what he’s doing, knowing the area, beautiful tow truck - he was just what I needed, not only getting me home with my damaged truck, but helping to make a really bad day BETTER! Thank you, Kristin & Trooper, you helped way beyond getting the job done, you really helped me too! ❤️

I had an extremely poor customer experience during my visit yesterday. Because I was carrying my own license plate that I had left inside of my friend’s towed vehicle, an employee assumed that I had removed the license plate from the vehicle they had towed. Even though I explained that the plate belonged to me, the employee never bothered to compare the plate that I have with the vehicle’s actual plate number before accusing me of stealing it. The employee then threatened to call the police. Since I knew I had done nothing wrong, I encouraged them to do so. When the police arrived, they verified the situation and allowed me to leave with my license plate. I wish I had gotten the employee’s name, but management should pay closer attention to how customers are treated. The entire situation was based on a misunderstanding, and after wrongly accusing me, yelling at me, and threatening to call the police, the employee could have at least come over and apologized. Unfortunately, that never happened.

So they showed up fast, I guess technically I haven’t had the tow yet the main reason for my review is Kristen who answered my call was extremely kind and explained everything so well. I was anxious and have a hard time with simple things like this and she made it a breeze! I really really appreciate how kind she was it made a big difference. Her customer service is exactly why I’ll continue to use Schmidt’s!!

I can’t say enough good things about Schmidt’s Towing—absolutely top-notch service from start to finish. Joshua went above and beyond in every way. He showed up quickly, was professional, friendly, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. What really stood out was how much care he took—not just with my vehicle, but in making sure I felt comfortable and taken care of during a stressful situation. It’s rare to find someone who combines skill, efficiency, and genuine kindness like that. If you ever need a tow, don’t hesitate—ask for Joshua. You’ll be in the best hands possible. Following a serious car accident, my car was totaled and brought here. I initially had been taken to the hospital after my accident and had no idea what state in my car was in. When I came to look over the damage and retrieve my things I was a bit horrified. They had left the car unlocked with all of my belongings inside. And thrown pieces of my car into the snow which were half buried. On the coldest day of the year, record-breaking cold where most things had shut down because of the cold. I needed to dig pieces of my car out of the snow and properly secure them in the car. Not to mention retrieve my belongings. Upon arriving at Schmidt's I realized my car was likely going to be totaled. And I was heartbroken. I grabbed my personal belongings. They definitely made that difficult. There was a blonde woman working at the front who did not want to help me find my vehicle at all. Meaning I had to spend lots of time out in that bitter cold trying to even find out where my car was located. I understand things happen, and they probably get a lot of accidents in the winter. But they had my keys. I would have been nice if they had thought to lock up my car while I had my personal poss
